VitalCaring is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver high-quality, one-on-one therapy to patients in their homes. You’ll work under a licensed Physical Therapist to guide care plans and measure progress, with emphasis on improving mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Ideal candidates have PTA certification, CPR, and at least 1 year of home health experience; drivers license and reliable transportation are required.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current PTA license or certification as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience preferred (home health experience a plus).
• CPR certification is required.

Mansioni

• Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Follow individualized plans of care to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and functional mobility.
• Support patients with transfers, strengthening, and activities of daily living.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and use of assistive devices.

Formazione

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

Current PTA license or certification

1+ year home health experience (preferred)
