Job summary

VitalCaring is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the home setting. You will work one-on-one with patients, following individualized plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Ideal candidates have PTA certification, current CPR, and a valid driver's license, with 1+ year of home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current PTA license or certification as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience preferred (home health experience a plus).
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver\'s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Follow individualized plans of care to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and functional mobility.
• Support patients with transfers, strengthening, and activities of daily living.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and use of assistive devices.
