Zusammenfassung

VitalCaring seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver one-on-one home health care, helping patients regain strength and mobility in familiar surroundings.

You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist, implementing plans of care, guiding patients through exercises, and educating families. A PTA license, CPR, and a valid driver’s license are required, with home health experience a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current PTA license or certification as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience preferred (home health experience a plus).
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Follow individualized plans of care to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and functional mobility.
• Support patients with transfers, strengthening, and activities of daily living.
• Utilize modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and use of assistive devices.
