VitalCaring Group is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for field-based home health care. You will deliver one-on-one rehabilitation in patients' homes, following established plans of care to improve mobility and independence.

The role emphasizes hands-on patient care, clear communication with the care team, and ongoing learning within a supportive PT group. Licensing requirements and CPR certification are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current PTA license or state certification as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience preferred, home health experience a plus.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Follow individualized plans of care to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and functional mobility.
• Support patients with transfers, strengthening, and activities of daily living.
• Utilize modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and use of assistive devices.
