Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Charlottesville, VA home health team. This full-time role serves the Charlottesville area with coverage to Culpeper, Ruckersville, Orange and Louisa, offering a supportive environment and patient-centered care.

The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, providing 1:1 care, documenting treatments, and participating in ongoing rehabilitation plans and equipment needs.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license in the state where practicing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience as a PTA preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological injuries.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's plan of treatment.
• Communicates patient's needs and progress to the Physical Therapist and assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve function.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation as required by laws and company policy.
• Collaborates with the PT to adjust plans of care based on patient progress.
