Idaho Home Health, part of LHC Group and within the Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy per plan of care in home settings across Idaho.

You will perform treatment, teach exercises, monitor progress, and coordinate with the supervising Physical Therapist to improve patient well-being. Weekend rotations and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifikationen

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care, including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.

Aufgaben

• Follow state-specific laws governing the provision of physical therapy in home care and adhere to the supervising PT's plan of care.
• Instructs and aids patients with active and passive exercises, gait, ADL, and mobility training.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and coordinate care with the health care team.
• Educate patient, family, caregiver, and others on therapy within the scope of practice.
• Function in home settings regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
