Job summary

Idaho Home Health, a part of the LHC Group and in the Optum family, seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver home health therapy under supervision. You will educate patients and families, perform prescribed exercises, and adapt plans under the PT directive.

Responsibilities include documenting responses, coordinating with the care team, and meeting state requirements while driving to patient homes across Idaho.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed, registered, or certified to practice physical therapy in the state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and access to a dependable vehicle or reliable public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and supervise plan of care under PT guidance.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises, gait, ADL, and transfers.
• Observe and report patient response to treatment and coordinate with the health care team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within PTA scope.
