AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant for a full-time, weekdays role in Massachusetts. The position covers the Wrentham, Plainville, Foxboro, Norfolk, Walpole, Sharon, Stoughton, Easton territory while offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus and competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include providing PTA services under the supervising therapist, documenting progress, promoting wellness, and coordinating follow-up care.

Formación

• Current license to practice as a PTA in the assigned state.
• Graduate from an accredited PTA program (CAPTE).
• One year of home health PTA experience recommended for entry.
• If less than one year of experience, mentoring may be required.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides physical therapy services and interventions under the supervision of a PT.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment and condition changes.
• Provides resources for wellness and prevention.
• Documents supervisory activities in the patient’s record.
• Monitors patient response and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinates follow-up care with the admitting agency.
