Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist to join our team in Massachusetts. This full-time, weekday role offers a competitive pay range of $145,000 to $156,000 with a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and the opportunity to help patients heal at home.

Responsibilities include improving movement and function, conducting 30-day reexaminations, discharging when appropriate, and coordinating care with the broader health team. A CAPTE-accredited degree and current state license are required.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice physical therapy in the assigning state.
• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• One year of related PT experience in home health preferred; mentoring allowed if less than one year.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Conduct reexaminations at least every 30 days and adjust interventions.
• Perform discharge planning and handle other duties as assigned.
