Amedisys, a leading home health and hospice provider, is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant for the West Bridgewater area (territory includes Wrentham, Plainville, Foxboro, Norfolk, Walpole, Sharon, Stoughton, Easton). This full-time weekday role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a pay range of $47/hr to $59/hr, with benefits including health plans, PTO, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in the state where you work.
• Graduated from CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• At least 1 year related PTA/home health experience.
• If less than 1 year experience, regional leadership approval and mentoring may be required.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under supervision and plan of care.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes to supervising staff.
• Promote wellness and prevention and document supervisory activities.
• Document patient responses in medical records.
• Participate in care conferences, in-services, chart audits, and quality activities.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate follow-up care with admitting agency and community resources.
