Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant in the Northern PG County territory. This full-time, Monday–Friday position offers a pay range of $45.00/hr to $57.00/hr and includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a PTA in the state of assignment.
• Graduate from an CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• One year of related PTA experience in home health or approval from regional clinical leaders if less than one year.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT according to the plan of care.
• Observes and reports patient response to treatment.
• Maintains confidentiality and documentation in the medical record.
• Participates in care conferences, chart audits, and quality improvement activities.
• Coordinates follow-up care and referrals with other care providers.
