Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality care to patients in Gloucester County, New Jersey.

This full-time, staff position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a pay-per-point compensation model ($45.00 - $50.00 per point).) PTA duties include in-home visits, developing treatment plans, educating patients and coordinating with the broader care team to ensure comfort, independence and dignity at home.

Qualifications

• Must have NJ licensure or eligibility to practice as PTA in NJ.
• Two-year PTA program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or related qualification.
• Two years PTA experience with acceptable proficiency exam if required.
• At least one year of work under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Home health experience is welcome; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients in their homes, from hospital discharge to safe home life.
• Provide treatment, tests, education and interventions as delegated by a licensed PT.
• Continuously assess and revise the PT care plan with the multidisciplinary team.
