Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to serve patients in Camden County, NJ. This full-time, staff position pays per point ($45.00-$50.00 per point) with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive on-the-job training.

Provide 1:1 PT support in patients’ homes, from hospital discharge to safe, independent living, under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Experience in home health is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have current licensure or certification in NJ.
• Graduated from a two-year college PTA program as indicated by transcript or diploma.
• Two years of PTA experience and proficiency exam (if required).
• At least one year of work under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• See clients through care from hospital discharge to a safe home life with independence and dignity.
• Provide treatment, tests, education and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Continuously assess and revise the PT care plan with the nursing team as appropriate.
