Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Fayetteville, GA. You’ll provide patient-centered 1:1 care and collaborate closely with a supervising Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans in the home setting.

We offer flexible scheduling, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team. A valid GA PTA license and BLS/ CPR are required, with at least one year of PTA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns.
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations.
