Job summary

Adoration Home Health in Covington, GA is seeking a dedicated Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our compassionate team. You will provide patient-centered PTA services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and support Newton & Henry Counties.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist and assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve function.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in required formats and timelines.
