Job summary

PARS Therapy in Athens, TX is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team. You will evaluate patients in their homes, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and help patients regain movement and reduce pain.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in TX.
• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities in home health.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans for optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments to prevent falls or re-injury.
• Deliver compassionate care while empowering patients to achieve independence.
