Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our home health team in Houston, TX. You will evaluate patients in their homes, develop individualized plans, and deliver interventions to restore mobility and reduce pain.

Ideal candidates hold a TX PT license, have a graduate degree in PT, and bring strong communication skills with a patient-centered approach. Experience in home health is preferred, with opportunities for flexible scheduling and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Physical Therapist license required.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Professional liability insurance coverage for TX license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients in a home health setting and assess functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and adaptive strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommend fall-prevention strategies.
