Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of individual development and human behavior as it relates to the effects of illness/injury.
• Understanding of the influence of culture on health care is necessary.
• Preferred experience with state and federal homecare regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients using medically prescribed physical therapy programs.
• Supervise 2 Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure performance standards.
• Develop a care plan and communicate with patients’ physicians for quality care.

Skills

Current unrestricted CA Physical Therapist License

Experience supervising PTAs in a HH environment

Current BLS/CPR Certification

Knowledge of local community resources
