Job summary

North Idaho Home Health, a part of L HC Group, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients in home care under supervision by a Physical Therapist. You will perform treatments and provide exercise instruction to improve well-being according to the plan of care.

As required, you will follow state laws, assist with exercise and mobility, coordinate care with the health team, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible to assist in physical therapy in Idaho.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Availability to work weekend rotations.
• Able to work in home settings with diverse patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and supervise treatment as defined by the supervising PT.
• Instruct and assist patients with active and passive exercises and gait training.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to the PT and care team.
• Educate patients, family, and caregivers on therapy within scope.
