Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary to assist patients with mobility and perform therapeutic activities.
• Pelvic Health Experience and/or interest

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises with patients and educate on proper techniques.
• Document patient progress and help develop individualized treatment plans.
• Instruct and assist patients in performing exercises and activities.
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions and provide guidance.
• Maintain a clean, organized therapy environment and sanitize equipment.
• Communicate with therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
