VitalCaring is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in patients' homes. You will work one-on-one with individuals to restore function, mobility, and independence, guided by a licensed Physical Therapist.

This field-based role emphasizes hands-on rehabilitation, clear communication with care teams, and consistent documentation of progress. Flexibility and a patient-first mindset are essential to succeed in home health care.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current PTA license or certification as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience preferred (home health experience a plus).
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Mansioni

• Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Follow individualized plans of care to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and functional mobility.
• Support patients with transfers, strengthening, and activities of daily living.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and use of assistive devices.
