Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate PTA with state license or required credential
• Experience in home health or acute care preferred
• Ability to work independently and in an interdisciplinary team
• Must be able to travel via public transportation or personal vehicle and have CA driver license if driving

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services under supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and gait training
• Assess patient status and report changes to supervisor
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation and equipment use
• Document observations and interventions in patient records
• Participate in discharge planning and team meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
