Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and the supervising PT's plan of care, performing only qualified procedures.
• Instruct and assist patients with active and passive exercise, gait, ADLs, transfers, and mobility training.
• Observe and report patient responses and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy activities and safety within PT scope.
• Function effectively in home settings regardless of client background.
