Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver skilled home care under an OT's supervision. You will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and document outcomes in compliance with physician orders and regulations.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as OTA
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OTA program or equivalent
• Eligible to take NBCOT examination or already certified

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled interventions under supervision of an licensed OT
• Document visits according to guidelines and regulatory standards
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Provide patient/caregiver resources for ADL/IADL needs
• Promote wellness and occupational engagement
• Coordinate follow-up care with care center
• Stay updated on OT trends and knowledge
