Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our home health care team in Houston, TX. You will partner with patients on their recovery journey to regain independence and improve quality of life in their own homes.

Responsibilities include evaluating conditions, creating treatment plans, educating patients and families, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and monitoring progress to adjust interventions as needed. Prior experience in home health is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Occupational Therapy license required.
• Current professional liability insurance in Texas required.
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and techniques; compassionate demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient conditions and creating individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills.
• Educating patients and families on techniques to support recovery and independence.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
