Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in state of practice.
• Driver's license and access to reliable vehicle or public transport.
• CPR certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides OT services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws and the plan of care, coordinating with the health care team.
• Evaluates patient functional status and occupational therapy needs; collaborates with physicians on the therapy plan of care.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment to the nurse supervisor and physician; documents progress.
• Conducts patient assessments to evaluate functional level using appropriate tests.
• Demonstrates ability to work with diverse patients regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
