Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks an Occupational Therapist for full-time home health roles, including PRN options, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus and flexible scheduling. The OT will assess and address ADLs, functional status, and environmental adaptations to support patient independence and safety.

You will collaborate with a care team, document CMS-relevant findings, and ensure quality care while complying with state regulations. Candidates must hold OT licensure and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws, in accordance with the plan of care and in coordination with the health care team.
• Evaluates the patient's functional status and requirements for CMS documentation, in collaboration with the physician.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses and changes to the care team and physician.
• Conducts patient assessments evaluating function using diagnostic and prognostic tests.
• Function effectively in diverse home settings while respecting patient differences.
