UnitedHealth Group's Amedisys division is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver skilled services in patients' homes under OT supervision. You will help patients improve daily living skills and functional independence through personalized therapy plans.

The role emphasizes safety, patient-centered care, and collaboration with caregivers, with comprehensive benefits and pay structures including per-visit and hourly components.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OTA program.
• Current license to practice as OTA in the assigned state.
• Eligible to take NBCOT certification examination.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ year OTA experience preferred for safe home care delivery.
• If under 1 year, regional clinical leader approval and mentoring required.

Responsabilités

• Provide skilled interventions under supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Document visits according to AOTA guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Observe and report patient response and changes to the supervising OT.
• Provide patient/caregiver resources for ADL/IADL needs.
• Promote wellness and engagement in daily activities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of community resources/services.
• Recommend follow-up care with the admitting care center.
• Stay current with OTA trends and care coordination.
