Job summary

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an OTA in the assigned state.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OTA program.
• NBCOT certification exam eligibility.
• One year related OTA experience preferred; mentoring available if less than one year.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled interventions under the direction of an occupational therapist.
• Documents each visit per AOTA guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Observes and reports patient response to treatment to the supervising OT and clinical staff.
• Provides patient/caregiver resources for future ADL/IADL needs.
• Promotes wellness and occupational engagement; stays updated on OT trends.
