Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to reliable transportation.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• NBCOT certification must be active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing OT in home care and the plan of care.
• Instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment within scope of OT assistants.
• Observe and report patient responses and changes to supervision.
• Educate patient, family, and care team in therapy areas within OT scope.
• Demonstrate ability to work with diverse patients in various home environments.
