Amedisys is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide home health OT services under physician-approved plans of care. You will evaluate patients at home, set goals, and implement therapies to promote independence.

In this full-time Days role, you will document findings, coordinate with RNs, supervise home health aides when needed, and participate in ongoing care planning with the health team. Committed professionals will support patients in healing at home.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Eligible to take or has completed NBCOT certification.
• One year of related OT experience to ensure knowledge and skills.
• If less than one year, regional leadership approval and mentoring/residency may be required.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Deliver occupational therapy services under an approved physician plan of care.
• Ensure the plan of care addresses identified problems and documents rationale if not addressed.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
