Job summary

Arlington Assured Home Health, part of LHC Group and within the Optum family, seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant for per diem home health visits in Washington state. The role involves delivering occupational therapy to restore patients’ physical abilities in their homes under the supervision of an OT.

You will follow state laws and the plan of care, document patient responses, educate families, and work with a diverse health care team to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in Washington (WA)
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance or access to public transportation
• CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing OT in home care and implement treatment as defined by supervising OT
• Follow plan of care and assist patients with evidence-based therapy within scope
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and changes to condition
