Job summary

Arlington Assured Home Health, part of the LHC Group family, seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant - Per Diem to provide in-home occupational therapy to help patients regain maximal physical function. You will work under the supervising OT, adhering to state laws and the plan of care. The role requires WA OTA licensure, a valid driver’s license with insurance, and NBOT certification.

CPR is preferred. Payment structure includes per visit points and hourly pay, with comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of Washington.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Preferred: CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy in patients' homes to restore maximal physical function.
• Follow state laws and supervising OT guidance; implement plan of care.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Instruct patient, family, and caregivers in therapy techniques within scope.
• Function effectively in diverse home environments and with diverse patient populations.
