UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Home Health in Mississippi to assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, daily living activities, fine motor skills, and home assessments. The role collaborates with physicians and the care team to develop effective therapy plans.

Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, documenting CMS-related data, and adapting therapy approaches to a variety of home environments.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Provides service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing Occupational Therapy, in accordance with the plan of care and in coordination with the health care team.
• Evaluates patient’s functional status and CMS documentation needs; consults with physician to develop therapy plan of care.
• Observes, records, and reports patient response to treatment and any condition changes to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Conducts patient assessments of functional level using appropriate tests.
• Demonstrates ability to work with diverse patient populations in home settings.
