Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Billing Specialist to handle home health billing for multiple payers under the supervision of the Revenue Cycle Director. You will manage accounts receivable from admission to balance satisfaction, follow up on denials, handle collections and payment processing to ensure a smooth workflow in the billing department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; AS in business-related curriculum helpful.
• Two years of experience in business office, preferably medical office.
• Home health billing knowledge or experience preferred.
• Strong word processing, spreadsheet and email skills.
• Able to concentrate with large volumes of data entry and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate billing for Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial insurance and private pay claims.
• Follows up on delinquent accounts.
• Maintains patient billing files and EMR billing notes.
• Maintains and promotes customer satisfaction.
• Oversees 40 hour work week, with potential overtime during peak workloads.
