Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Medical Records Specialist in the home health sector to ensure HIPAA-compliant management of patient information from referral to final billing.

You will handle orders, respond to inquiries, file reports, generate reports, gather documents, scan and copy, and perform other duties as assigned. Strong data entry, auditing, and communication skills are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Strong data entry and auditing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), Google products.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Time management.
• Analyzing information.
• Confidentiality.
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to type 50 WPM.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid Auto Insurance.
• HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• Orders Management experience preferred.
• Healthcare Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage orders and ensure accurate processing.
• Respond to questions in writing, by phone, email, and fax.
• Sort and distribute reports.
