Job summary

ProHealth Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Billing Clerk to manage billing and collections for Home Health Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers. You will work with the corporate accounts receivable team to ensure accurate submission and timely processing of bills electronically or on paper.

• Experience in Home Health billing preferred.
• Strong data entry and numerical accuracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Bills private pay statements to patients prior to the beginning of each month.
• Inputs data into accounts receivable system.
• Bills private insurances to relevant insurances.
• Reconciles payments with Accounts Receivable balances.
• Follows up on private insurance billing to ensure current payment.
• Maintains appropriate accounting data via spreadsheets.
• Performs routine clerical duties as needed.
