Granite Peak Home Health is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to join our growing team in Great Falls, Montana. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, and support patients in their homes under RN supervision.

You must meet Medicare Conditions of Participation for Home Health Aide training and competency; CNA license holders are eligible for certification. We offer flexible scheduling, benefits, and opportunities to grow with our agency.

Qualifications

• Meet Medicare Conditions of Participation for Home Health Aide training and competency.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.
• Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
• Maturity and ability to handle the demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Understands and adheres to established Agency policies and procedures.
• Performs personal care, bath, and hands-on care as assigned.
• Completes appropriate visit records in a timely manner as per Agency policy.
• Reports changes in the patient’s condition and needs to the RN.
• Performs household services essential to health care in the home as assigned.
• Ambulates and exercises the patient as assigned.
• Performs simple procedures as an extension of the therapy or nursing services, e.g., ROM exercises as assigned.
• Assists with medications that are ordinarily self-administered as assigned.
• Attends in-service and continuing education programs as scheduled and necessary.
• Attends patient care conferences as scheduled.
