Job summary

Granite Peak Home Health in Kalispell, MT is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to join our growing team. You'll work under RNs and therapists to provide personal care, mobility assistance, and essential in-home services.

This role requires meeting Medicare COP for HHA training, a caring attitude, and the ability to follow directions. We offer a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and opportunities for certification and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Must meet Medicare COP for HHA training and competency.
• If licensed CNA, Granite Peak Home Health can provide Home Health Certification.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.
• Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
• Maturity and ability to deal with the demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established Agency policies and procedures.
• Performs personal care, bath, and hands-on care as assigned.
• Completes visit records in a timely manner as per Agency policy.
• Reports changes in the patient's condition and needs to the RN.
• Performs household services essential to health care in the home as assigned.
• Ambulates and exercises the patient as assigned.
• Performs simple procedures as an extension of the therapy or nursing services (ROM).
• Assists with medications that are ordinarily self-administered as assigned.
• Attends in-service and continuing education programs as scheduled.
• Attends patient care conferences as scheduled.
