Job summary

Granite Peak Home Health is seeking a Home Health Aide to join our Kalispell team. You will perform personal care, assist with activities of daily living, and support RN-led care plans in patients' homes.

The ideal candidate meets Medicare COP for home health aide training and shows compassion for the elderly. Training and ongoing education are provided; a valid driver license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Meets Medicare Conditions of Participation for Home Health Aide training and competency
• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick and elderly
• Ability to carry out directions, read and write
• Maturity to handle job demands

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care, bath, and hands-on care as assigned
• Completes visit records in a timely manner per Agency policy
• Reports changes in patient's condition to the RN
• Provides household services essential to home health care as assigned
• Assists with ambulation and exercises
• Assists with ROM exercises when appropriate
• Assists with self-administered medications as directed
• Attends in-service and continuing education programs
• Attends patient care conferences as scheduled
