Interim HealthCare of the Midlands is hiring a Home Health Aide (CNA) to deliver personalized, patient-centered care in patients' homes in South Carolina. You will support daily living activities, monitor well-being, and promote safety and comfort with empathy and professionalism.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage ($17.00–$19.00 DOE), mileage reimbursement, flexible scheduling, 1:1 patient care, and an employer-matched 401(k). Home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in South Carolina.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate nature and good communicator.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Care for seniors in their homes, supporting daily living activities.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and nutrition.
• Help with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Monitor vitals and document changes; report to supervisor as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses and aides to follow the patient care plan.
• Observe patient and escalate issues requiring changes in care or equipment.

WhatYou’llDo

As a Home Health Aide (CNA), you will:

• Care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease in their homes
• Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes
• Work with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient’s care plan is followed
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment

WhatYou’llNeed

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in South Carolina
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Home Health experience preferred
