Job summary

SYNERGY Homecare in Largo, FL is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality, in-home care. The role requires a valid HHA certificate, CPR, a clean driving record, and a Level 2 background check. You will assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, appointments, light housekeeping, and companion care in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• HHA certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year caregiving experience (in-home care preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Level 2 background screening with fingerprinting.
• Recent TB test results.
• Compassionate, reliable and professional demeanor.
• Strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide mobility assistance and ensure client safety.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing).
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.


• Provide mobility assistance and ensure client safety.


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed.


• Accompanying clients to their appointments.


• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing)


• Monitor and report changes in client condition.


• Provide companionship and emotional support (Offer encouragement and help clients maintain social connections)


• Follow care plans and agency protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.


• Current CPR certification (required)


• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (in-home care preferred)


• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
