Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers, CNAs, and HHA professionals to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and individuals in our Northwest Suburbs service area, including Schaumburg, Park Ridge, and surrounding communities.

We offer competitive hourly pay, mileage reimbursement, caregiver referral bonuses, earned sick time, health benefits options, paid training, and 24/7 office support.

Qualifications

• Caregivers should be compassionate, patient, and professional.
• Preferred caregiving experience of 1 year or more.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required. CPR/First Aid is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and social interaction to clients.
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping.
• Support clients with mobility and daily activities.
• Follow individualized care plans and schedules.

Your Role as a Caregiver

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
• Supporting clients with mobility and daily activities
• Following individualized care plans and schedules
• Promoting client safety, comfort, and independence
• Documenting care provided and communicating changes or concerns to the office

What We're Looking For

We are seeking caregivers who are compassionate, patient, professional, and committed to providing quality care.

Preferred Experience

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
• Experience in home care, private duty, CNA, HHA, or a similar caregiving setting is a plus

Required

• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Current auto insurance

A Plus

• CPR/First Aid certification
