Human Touch Home Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Administrator to provide operational and clinical leadership for our Richmond, Virginia office.
We are looking for a proven healthcare leader who understands home health operations, knows how to manage people and processes, and can maintain accountability while keeping quality patient care at the center of every decision.
This is not an entry-level leadership position.
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia OR an active multistate/Compact RN license that permits practice in Virginia
Minimum 3 years of management or leadership experience in Home Health, Home Care, or a closely related healthcare setting
Experience managing healthcare staff and day-to-day operations
Ability to work 100% onsite in Richmond, Virginia
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

As the Home Health Administrator, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Richmond office while providing leadership to both clinical and administrative teams.
Responsibilities include:
Provide daily leadership and oversight of branch operations
Lead, support, and hold clinical and administrative staff accountable
Oversee the delivery of quality and compliant home health services
Work closely with clinical leadership to address patient-care needs
Monitor census, admissions, staffing, productivity, and overall office performance
Ensure appropriate coordination between Clinical, Intake, Staffing, Recruitment, Billing, and other departments
Identify operational barriers and implement effective solutions
Monitor staffing levels and assist with workforce planning
Support hiring, onboarding, retention, coaching, and performance management
Address employee performance concerns appropriately and timely
Monitor key performance indicators and develop plans for improvement
Help ensure patients are admitted and staffed in a timely manner
Address patient, caregiver, employee, and referral-source concerns
Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Maintain survey readiness
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and organizational requirements
Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed
Participate in leadership meetings and organizational initiatives
Promote a culture of accountability, communication, teamwork, and quality care
We need someone who can lead, not simply manage a title.
The right Administrator understands how clinical care, staffing, admissions, compliance, employee performance, patient satisfaction, and business operations work together.
Active Virginia RN License OR active Compact/Multistate RN License valid for practice in Virginia
Minimum 3 years of management or leadership experience in Home Health, Home Care, or a closely related healthcare setting
Strong healthcare operations experience
Demonstrated experience supervising and managing employees
Strong understanding of home health clinical operations
Knowledge of Medicare home health requirements and applicable regulations
Strong leadership, coaching, and performance-management skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively across clinical and administrative departments
