Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Knoxville, TN, is seeking a full-time Class A delivery driver to operate commercial motor vehicles safely, load and unload cargo, and maintain accurate shipment records. You will work at our service centers, adhere to DOT regulations, and represent the company with customers on a daily basis.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Class A CDL with hazardous materials and double/triple endorsements, at least one year of driving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat and doubles/triples endorsements required.
• Minimum of one year driving experience and ability to pass DOT screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, with or without assistance.
• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading and receipts.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors and operate landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition; fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
