Job summary

Mountain America Credit Union is seeking a Loan Coordinator to guide members from Home Equity application through closing. You will provide financial education, exceptional service, and personalized support to build trust and strengthen the member relationship.

You will process Home Equity Line of Credit applications, review credit and collateral, verify documents, analyze income and DTI, coordinate appraisals, title reports, and disclosures, and ensure compliance with regulations while

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Loan Coordinator with performance measurements or 3 years in a finance or sales related field.
• Ability to satisfy immediate and unexpected needs by recommending credit union products and services with knowledge and confidence.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain composure while handling all member activities and requests.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional member service by assessing needs and advising to improve financial situation.
• Educates members on MACU tools, resources, and cross-sells products as needs arise.
• Processes all Home Equity Line of Credit applications and reviews borrower information.
• Analyzes income, cash flow and DTI from paystubs, 1099s, P&L, and tax returns.
• Verifies employment status and coordinates appraisals, title reports, and disclosures.
• Ensures loan files are complete and compliant with regulations and MACU policies.
