Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar home equity lending experience.
• Two-year college degree or equivalent certification/training.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of mortgage operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with members to assess home equity lending needs and guide applicants through the loan process.
• Evaluate loan applications, analyze risk, and make lending decisions per policies.
• Process and manage loan files, order appraisals, and coordinate with underwriting.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state mortgage lending regulations.
• Communicate with members, underwriters, title companies, and partners to resolve issues.
• Conduct loan closings and review documentation for accuracy.
• Develop relationships with referral partners and community organizations.
• Stay current on lending products, market trends, and NMLS requirements.
• Meet production, quality, and service goals while contributing to growth.
• Participate in team meetings, seminars, and community outreach.
