Job summary

Del Norte Credit Union in Santa Fe is seeking a Virtual Experience Consultant to deliver personalized service via phone and digital channels. You will guide members through deposit and lending solutions, interview applicants, and ensure confidential, compliant experiences.

The role requires in-person work at the Cerrillos Branch, with opportunities to coach staff and promote member education while meeting goals.

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related experience, including Consumer Lending.
• A high school education or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with financial services through a consultative approach to determine the most value-added products and/or services to meet individual member needs.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the applicable core system, including loan and deposit platforms.
• Proactively assist members with their deposit and consumer lending needs through online and telephone channels with prudent credit analysis and knowledge of consumer lending practices; interview loan applicants for credit decisions.
• Resolve problems within interviewer’s authority or refer to the next level supervisor with a recommendation.
• Ensure all needed member documents are collected for loan processing per policy and guidelines.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops; engage in staff coaching.
• Promote a needs-based member education culture within the Virtual Contact Center and mentor team consultants to promote products.
• Work effectively in a team environment and comply with regulations and annual compliance courses.
