Job summary

Accendra Health’s Portsmouth branch seeks a Delivery Technician to safely deliver, set up, and retrieve durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will educate patients on basic equipment use and ensure safe operation while delivering high-quality service.

This role supports patient safety, comfort, and independence, working within a small, close-knit team with on-call rotations and a stable schedule. A Safe Driver Bonus is eligible for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry and maneuver equipment up to 50 lbs as part of daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
• Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life-sustaining needs.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately.
