Job summary

Accendra Health is hiring a Delivery Technician to deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will educate patients on safe use and ensure high‑quality service. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and compassionate customer care in a small, dedicated team.

The position offers a stable daytime schedule, on‑call rotations, and on‑site training. High school diploma, valid license, and English fluency are required; experience is not necessary.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
• Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life‑sustaining needs.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
• Perform routine vehicle checks.
